Dublin, the capital city of Ireland, offers a charming atmosphere for couples to explore.

Below, I have compiled a list of enjoyable and romantic things to do in Dublin for couples to add to your itinerary – making your trip unforgettable! 😍

1. Stroll Through St. Stephen’s Green Park

Take a leisurely walk through Europe’s largest park, St. Stephen’s Green Park, a beautiful park in the heart of Dublin. 

Enjoy nature in the heart of the city and maybe even bring a picnic lunch to enjoy!

Nearby you will find the iconic Leo Burdock’s which is renowned for serving up delicious, crispy fish and chips – a perfect addition to your picnic at St. Stephen’s Green.

Take the time to explore the various sculptures & monuments around the park that are reflective of Irish history.

There is also a playground located in the park if you’re traveling with kids.

You can walk around the outside of the Dublin Castle for free, but if you are wanting to go inside Dublin Castle, you will need to pay for a self-guided tour or a guided tour.

If you are wanting to purchase self-guided tickets, you can do so online or in-person.

When we were there, we purchased the self-guided tickets in person the day of, but their website does mention that there are a limited number of self-guided tickets each day.

If you would prefer a guided tour, you must purchase those tickets the day of at their ticket desk. 

The guided tours operate daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

We did the Guinness Storehouse Connoisseur Experience, and it totally exceeded our expectations!
