9 Things to Do in New Buffalo, Michigan
1. Relax on the Beach
The main public beach in New Buffalo is the perfect spot to relax, swim, or even have a picnic, and it offers beautiful views—especially at sunset.
It’s easily accessible, with a paid parking lot right next to the beach and plenty of free street parking within a short walk.
Having only visited ocean beaches before, I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this one on the lake! It felt similar to being at the ocean, even with the smaller waves and no salt water.
I actually much prefer swimming in fresh water without the worry of sea creatures lol.
One of the popular sayings there on merchandise is “No Salt, No Sharks” which I thought was pretty clever!
